Dosage

Preparation methods
- Decoction: Boil 6-8 fresh leaves in 2 cups of water until it reduces to half a cup. Use for irregular menstruation.
- Leaf paste: Grind fresh leaves into a paste for application on wounds, wasp stings, or skin irritations.
- Juice: Pound white periwinkle leaves to extract 2-3 ml of juice, consume in the early morning or late at night for hypertension.
- Powder: Dry fresh leaves or roots in the shade and make a fine powder.
- Infusion: Dry, powder fresh sadabahar leaves and store it in a glass container. Take 1 tsp of the dried leaf powder by infusing it with water or fresh fruit juice on an empty stomach every morning to keep diabetes under control.
- Tea: Boil freshly plucked Sadabahar flowers in water. Allow it to steep and then strain. Drink this bitter liquid early morning on an empty stomach to manage diabetes.

Side effects

- Coumadin: It might decrease the effectiveness of coumadin and increase the risk of clotting.
